1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WilderGuide mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Outdoor Safety & Responsible Field Observation

WilderGuide is an educational exploration guide. When observing wildlife:

• Leave No Trace: Never disturb, touch, harass, feed, or remove wild organisms or plant specimens.
• Trail Safety: Always be aware of your surroundings, weather conditions, ocean tides, and terrain hazards. Never trespass on private property.
• Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your own safety and decision-making in the outdoors.

3. User Content & Sighting Photos

You retain full ownership of all photographs and journal entries you capture with WilderGuide. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Certain ecosystem packs or membership tiers may require in-app purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

WilderGuide is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that species identification information is 100% error-free or suitable for foraging or safety determinations.
